CPR/AED Course Description

Life Beat, Inc. provides the American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR/AED Training Course in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This three-hour course includes video instruction, a lecture, hands-on training with manikins and AED equipment, and a test.

 

The course is $70 per person, and student manuals are included.

Course Intended Audience

The HeartSaver CPR/AED course is intended for lay rescuers who are required to respond to cardiac emergencies, such as police officers, security guards, personal trainers, construction workers, teachers, and childcare staff.

 

The course includes adult, child, and infant CPR, Choking, and the use of an AED. Many companies designate certain staff members as CPR/AED certified. This course provides a two-year digital certification issued upon completion.

First Aid Course Description

Life Beat, Inc. offers the American Heart Association HeartSaver First Aid Course in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The course is 4-5 hours long and $75 per person, and the manual is included. It is designed for those who have a duty to respond to first aid or cardiac emergencies. The course covers how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. It includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies.

This course also includes CPR and choking for adults, children, and infants, as well as AED and environmental emergencies.
