ACLS Course Description

The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is designed to train healthcare professionals how to treat adult victims of cardiac arrest. It is an initial 13.5 hour course or an 8 hour renewal designed for medical providers such as paramedics, respiratory therapists, physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians , and other professionals who respond to cardiovascular emergencies . The classes are based on simulated clinical scenarios and they encourage active hands on participation. This course provides a 2 year digital certification issued upon completion. 

The simulations are realistic and reinforce key concepts for: 


  • Proficiency in basic life support care
  • Recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions



  • Managing cardiac arrest
